Correct.


Not really. The curriculum is the same but we have different rubrics and assessments.

Correct.


Deal is IB lite, very little IB going on if you look or have been to an International IB school or review the website. However, not a bad school nor good, middle of the road that has high achieving students for the most part due to their parental background.

What specifically is it that you think is different at Deal than other DC public schools?

My 3 prefer to bring their lunch- saying the school food is bad. I was finding out that they were throwing is out meaning wasting $$$

It’s a win win to bring the lunches

While not mandatory, DD had a math page a day and also a recommended language workbook. It's probably helpful to do some of these things over the summer so that their skills stay sharp.
