I watched it again within the last 8-10 years, and I have to say I found my mind wandering. Same with Flambards, although BR is much higher quality. |
| We’re spoiled with HD TV and beautiful picture quality of modern shows. Plus Hollywood overly beautifies the cast. Sadly, some older series don’t seem age as well (not to mention priests falling for 13 yr olds). |
Maybe, yes ,but the acting hasn't improved and neither has the storywriting. I read somewhere recently that one of the reasons British shows have become more popular (e.g. so many of the posts on here reference British shows) is that the acting and writing continues to be good, whereas Hollywood is really only about looks. Someone like Olivia Colman probably wouldn't have stood a chance in Hollywood before her Academy Award. Anyway, to answer the question: Fleabag The Night Manager The Little Drummer Girl The Hour Pride & Prejudice 1995 Bleak House Little Dorrit John Adams Band of Brothers |

Is this a contest to see who can list the most non-miniseries? Fleabag, FFS. How about Game of Thrones while we're at it?
I remember loving Lonesome Dove as a young kid. I can't imagine it has held up that well. Worst miniseries: Kingpin |
| All time favorite is North and South. Recent favorite is The Night Of. |
| Jane Eyre 1983 version. I watch it over and over and over and over. |
Why isn't Fleabag a miniseries? There are 6 episodes in each series and there were 2 series in total (and that's all there will be). So 12 episodes. Doesn't that qualify? |
