Hire someone to sort legos?

I would love to hire someone to do this. It would be a lot quicker and less complaining than having the kids do it.

OP, I will do this for you at the professional organizer rate of $300/ hour. If you want to post the results on Instagram, I will also go to the container store for you and pick up a selection of boxes to make it all look cute and organized. (you just pick your budget for the boxes and I will find a set that works)

Give him strategies to break down the task and work through each part. This sounds like a great life skills/executive function practice. I would make him a list of steps (like, first sort by color) and provide tools like trays or bins. Provide a bin or Ziploc for each set.

OMG. Has anyone pointed out that it would likely cost MORE to hire someone to "organize Legos" to find all the pieces in a set, than it would to just buy a new set?

OP, let your child play with the Legos. He doesn't need to make a "set."
