We still have a succulent my DH bought in the 90s. It grew so large that we divided it and gave some to others.
And, cast iron pans. They are awesome, from the mid twentieth century, and need very little oil to cook in. Much better than that toxic non-stick stuff. Still like my CDs, and have a CD player/radio, as well as all the modern streaming stuff. I collect and wea older costume jewelry, and have some stuff my mom or I owned in the 70s, 80s, and before. |
| Lots of stuff - cooking/pots, utensils, furniture, our car (98), decorations, house stuff/lights, plumbing, electrical, etc. |
|
My engagement ring and anything we got as wedding gifts (china, crystal, pots and pans, etc.) are from 1998
We have a few antique furniture pieces. That's it. |
| I have some old rollers. They are the wire-framed ones with a hard bristle interior. I also have the pins that help hold them in place. NOTHING works better at creating smooth curls (without heat). I leave it in my hair for a few hours (just like my mom did!!). |
| Timberland fleece pullover that's over 20 years old. Still looks relatively new. |
|
My mom's hot rollers from the 60s.
Sony shelf stereo system with CD and record player that got got when I graduated high school in 1991. Sony clock radio from around 1993. Yes 90125 CD (OK, the CD is from 1994 but the album is from 1983 and it's still in regular rotation in my car to this day.) |
| TI-81 calculator. It is a workhorse!! |
