June birthdays

The thought of not putting my late June child in Kindergarten on time never even crossed my mind. My current Kindergartener has only 2 friends who waited a year to start school - both of them have late September birthdays. One was a boy with behavioral issues (parents wanted to see if he would mature after another year - news flash: he's still a jerk) and the other was a very small girl with a late September birthday - her parents were on the fence about it, but decided because of her small size, that they would start her a year later. She's in K now and still one of the smaller kids in the class.
