Look, it's right to be jealous of these f*ktards who earn 500k plus. Unless they are surgeons saving babies, they literally do not deserve it, and they are stripping money from the economy and adding nothing. I've seen their comp packages -- nothing but a circle jerk of escalating rip offs.
eat. the. rich. |
Instead of being jealous, maybe you should channel your energy into either making more money for yourself or just being happy with what you have. Maybe you need some life goals instead of trying to bring people down that have worked hard for their position in life. |
Brain-picking = The act of exploring another's ideas through questioning. For example in seeking ideas on solving a problem from a more knowledgeable colleague. It's a good thing. The term you're looking for is more akin to intrusive questioning from a busybody. |
I agree with this. How can one person be possibly worth so much? Most are getting rich off the backs of other people and not miraculously saving lives. |
That's nice. As a fed, can I have my annual 1.2% raise now, or are we getting frozen again? |
Then maybe that friend should give her some of those extra zeroes. I really don't think you get how you sound here: Ah, well. All things are good with the right attitude. We were poor-ish for a few years, too. But it all worked out for us, and you should feel zen about it, too. Money changes nothing. I still shop at GAP, so I get you. I have a BIL (no kids, no wife) who makes 400K a year who constantly complains about repairs to his 2.5mil home. He truly does not get how this sounds to people who don't have money to put in their retirement accounts. He thinks it's exactly the same as when one of his middle-class friends complains about an expensive home repair, or college costs, or somesuch. |
I dont make anywhere near that, but you have mental issues. |
Nobody cares about you. You are also a parasite. |
Well your BIL is house poor and therefore a moron. Hes the typical outwarslybrich, inwardly poor. Hes the equivalent of hood rich. I'm sure the house isnt where his idiotic spending stops. Probably cars, watches, trips. |
Why? Are you going to be paying their bill or are they going to be paying your bills? They are not family. There is never any expectation that they will be helping you monetarily as it happens with family. What they earn, how does that matter to you?

| Your friend can pay for the vacation and you can pay for the icecream. Channel your inner Gayle King and let your friend be Oprah! |
I'm graduating from med school in May to do pediatrics so I guess "saving babies" and will make like 55k as a resident. Oh and I'll have about 185k of debt. (Thankfully I love it)

| I just noticed an old college friend was on social media and linkedin saying they're taking some (totally cliche) sabbatical thing after the small tech company they work for sold for big bucks. I safely assume the friend just made millions. They weren't a software engineer either, just in sales with a joke degree from a public U. No way of predicting the company would blow up like it did. No genius IQ. No academic pedigree. Luck? Right place, right time? |
Most people in this COUNTRY don't earn even a tenth of that. |
I still want to know what this guy does. Come on, OP! Stop torturing us.
