Will a Roseanne reboot centered on Sara Gilbert and her kids succeed?

They'll probably just introduce a storyline about her going away to somewhere she'll never come back from. Or maybe about her going missing or getting kidnapped or something.

Why on Earth do you think they would bring her back? She's a mean, nasty, unfunny racist.

Anything is possible. This country elected a president that is all of the bolded above, and this man runs the free world. Anything is possible. Once this current situation blows over, Roseanne may very well be given her job back within a year or two. Watch.

ABC has done a mistake by cancelling The Last Man Standing too, due to Tim Allen being a republican, they can claim whatever, but we know that is true. ABC is desperate for a good sitcom and they keep making decisions based on politics and perception. This scandal would actually make the show even more watched and controversial. I am not supporting her or her idiotic racist rants, but show business is a scandal business, they ought to use that. It won't be their first racist actor or the last.

So she should be rewarded with money and a spotlight?

I agree show business is scandal. If teens can be rewarded for teen pregnancy, strippers turned rappers, transgender children, 600lb people—- then why not Roseanne?

Sorry, none of the groups you mention are equivalent to racists. You tipped your hand.

NP which is exactly why I won’t be watching. The ink isn’t even dry on the new contracts and she’s already lying and crying about how this was all a big misunderstanding all while trying to set herself up for a sympathy comeback. Her antics are incredibly transparent and a tremendous slap in the face to the people of color on ABC.
