At all levels of faculty and staff, every person at ACDS knows our child and they know us. Our child is challenged in her classes, asked to step outside of her comfort zone, and her confidence has soared at ACDS. We transferred from another private school in the area where our experience wasn't even a close 2nd to what both our child and we as parents are getting at ACDS. You should visit ACDS, talk to faculty, staff, parents and other students. BTW, the building and grounds are fantastic, too.

+100. ACDS is a hidden gem.

Lol, if it is such a hidden gem, how come so many board members have transferred their kids to St Stephens?

+1000. See where ACDS kids are going these days. Some haven't even got into any private schools. They are starting to see an affect from the current HoS.

I've noticed there seems to be a couple of ACDS bashers here on DCUM. I can't help but wonder if its 1 or 2 people continuously posting with a serious axe to grind......

Or maybe some folks just want people to know the truth?

Sign your name then. Stop stating things anonymously. Put identity where your “facts” are. If you’re so confident in your supposed fact-based assertions. back them up with your name

Really? How about you first then? I don't see anyone posting names here - including you. Like someone else said, there is a lot of bashing all over on here. And I would add there is also a lot of unabashed support. Stop looking if you don't like it.

OMG. It seems to me, you had a child at that school at some point - if this is the case. SAY SO!!!! And tell us when it was. You obviously don't like the current HOS and left because you were unhappy. You seem very bitter. The current HOS has been there for 6-7 years now. What is your continued problem with school. Try and be specific. I know 3 families with kids there who are all VERY happy with both the education their kids are getting and the philosophy of the school.

Wow...did someone forget to take their meds today? And, no, you are wrong. Be specific because that is how you are being? I know several families who left and some still there who are unhappy. Just trying to make sure folks understand both sides.

Thank you for the clarification. BTW: You seem to have several different posters asking you for details. Not sure I understand the basis for your "forget to take the meds" comment. We all forgot to take our meds?

Several? I only see one. And, regardless, YOU are the only poster who is using CAPS and exclamation points!!! Therefore, I suggested that only YOU forgot to take your meds!! (See how it looks?)

Uh, yeah. You just responded to me, and I'm not the one using caps. Weirdo.

Well, yeah, you didn't sign your name so how is anyone supposed to know that. And name calling? Of course. The unintelligent person's reply in a debate.
