Of course she can vent. She just sounds like a whiner--personally, I would keep that kind of disappointment to myself. If she really wants immersion she can move IB for Oyster--because if you can afford to live IB for Eaton, you can afford to live IB for Oyster. |
Yup this happened to me! Waitlisted at my inbound and all the close by DCPS, many of which had no waitlist last year. |
I don't live EOTP and never said I did. |
If someone can afford a million dollar rowhouse in Shaw, they can also afford a house in AU Park. That was the point, not that everyone can afford it. And they won't need a second car for commuting anymore than a resident of Shaw - AU Park is right on the metro. |
I think this wotp-eotp distinction is a bit too overblown.
you may live in a 1 br leased apartment in Ward 3 cuz it's close to work and have a lesser median hhi, while there are tons of folks who live in 1-2 million USD homes in and around Shaw. not everything is so black and white... that means every DC resident should have a shot on free PK3, regardless of wards. |
School Without Walls @ Francis Stevens not School Within a School. |
Pssshhh, been that way since 2013. |
Both entitled. Your only friends are rich, poster A. Sure, they're whining is also annoying, but I wish some folks on this board would just step outside their "UMC" (="UC" actually) bubbles just once. You're whining when you are IB for one of the top DCPS, poster OP. |
