I'm not so worried about those people. About 30 - 40% of illegals are the "illegal crossing" type, and that's where we need control. And the wall won't solve the problem completely - you're right, I'm not dumb - but it will present an obstacle while sending a strong message that this country is not looking the other way anymore. Better than setting up a hotline so illegal immigrants can voice their complaints about border agents! Obama should have just hung a big "Welcome" sign.

Well, we certainly condemn the white middle aged men who commit the mass shootings, don't we? As we should. So why is it that you refuse to condemn the illegal immigrants who commit crimes? I think the wall is a more effective as a symbol than it would be keeping people out.
