| OP, just to say that my DD was like that and we took her to Rome when she was 23 months and it went so much better than expected. In the city we walked or took the metro, but driving to and from the airport she was ok and the plane ride was also much easier than expected. Also, she is now almost 4 and does fine in the car now. |

| Is this a joke? My DH’s family was poor. So was my college roomate’s. Both never traveled anywhere. I traveled everywhere. We all turned out fine. Relax and stop comparing. |
