Does that mean we should keep wandering off topic any opportunity we have? I am relatively new - the RMES#5 boundary discussion brought me in. That thread stayed on topic for the most part.

Other than that, I'm not discussing gifts with other parents. YMMV. Do you really go around telling people what you're giving the teacher?

You're not going to get in trouble, PP. But the teacher might get in trouble. It's not a position I'd put a teacher I liked into. But, as you say, YMMV.
