| Private Secretary/Susie, starring Ann Sothern |
| Designing Women….so so funny. Im from the South though so I can see how maybe Northerns wouldn't get it. |
The delivery is deadpan but the people are over the top. It can have a really absurdist feel. I wanted to say this because often people think deadpan comedy is just people in normal situations saying cutting things to each other (dull). |
+1 I still watch it and laugh even though I've seen all the episodes a million times. |
| Mary Tyler Moore - the scenes in the newsroom with Ted Knight were always priceless. |
| Trump presidency - it may be the best comedy of all time. |
I'd say Archer fits this list. |
| Matchgame 78. |
| So many, but I'll say Designing Women. |
| Since no ones mentioned it, The Bob Newhart show-/the one with Suzanne Pleshette. |
|
The Beverly Hillbillies.
But Seinfeld really holds up. I still watch it every night on cable. |
| Seinfeld, veep, friends, scrubs |
And... king of queens, Malcolm in the middle, South Park! |
| It's always Sunny! |
|
I love so many of these.
For those of you that like these, I absolutely love Broad City. Must watch!!!! |
