1. Toss-up - two of my friends I consider equally intellectual/smart: one went to Holy Cross (undergrad), the other went to Penn.

2. The richest person I know went to NC State - design program. She also comes from money and has had a lot of help over the years - like her parents paying all her bills when she was out of work etc. She is kind of unreliable but extraordinarily talented so keeps landing very plum corporate jobs.

Smartest: Grandfather (inventor with 3rd grade education)

Richest: Trade school (electrician who lived frugally and invested in stock market)

I can't decide which of my two friends is smarter so l'll include both:

1. Notre Dame for undergrad; no grad degree
2. Washington University (St. Louis) for undergrad; University of Washington for MD/PhD

Richest- St. John's University in NYC for undergrad; NYU for MBA, but did not graduate

I've heard of St. Norbert! My son attends Grinnell and I think they are both part of the MWC for sports.

Smartest: undergrad in China, Georgetown for grad. Also the nicest person I've ever met.
Richest: only graduated high school! And now a freakin bazillionaire. Good for him!

Riches -- Haverford (but I wouldn't go to Haverford because I wanted to get rich)

Am I the only one who has no idea who the smartest or the richest person I know is? I know lots of very smart people and few, if any, very rich people.
