MAJOR Snowstorm?

So glad I'm going on vacation and missing it, although if it's really over a foot I'm sure some will still be around next weekend.

On the other hand, I feel a tad bad for my oldest son (5th grade), who's grounded through next weekend for swiping another kid's craft project at school and "accidentally" destroying it on the walk home. He's in such hot water, it's not even funny. So no ipod, no xbox, no more walking home after school (hello Day #2 today of getting your ass on the KinderCare bus and have fun explaining why to all of your friends), and definitely no snow play day on Tuesday. Hopefully he's genuinely sorry and will never think to behave like he did again, and hopefully this will notch down his recently-acquired cocky attitude a few rings.

Sorry to hijack, but my fifth grade boy has acquired some major cockiness too lately. I have no tolerance for rudeness or anything that could be hurtful for another child. Sometimes he's still a good kid. Just testing the waters I suppose. Carry on...snow...

Enough about your love life...

Right?! I said to my husband "here comes the big one" (meaning snow) he said "thats what she said." Yes we are almost 40.

Is it wrong that I snorted with laughter at this. I am older than you and apparently my sense of humor is not so high brow.

The anticipation is as exciting as the actual (non) event.

When someone posted the Hitler video last year before Snowzilla my husband and I were in actual tears.

I do not remember wind like this in my youth. It is such a recent thing. And I hate it above all other weather.

Anything over 6 inches impresses me.
