wtf is KAC doing here in a sofa in the oval?

Yes, she was preparing to take a group picture. Read the WaPo article in which Cillizza points out how “incredibly dumb” this “controversy” is.

And, then look at the picture that was taken moments right after the one that is causing such outrage on the left.....

1. She still has her shoes on the couch.
2. THERE IS ALREADY A PHOTOGRAPHER TAKING A PICTURE.

She's like that annoying mom at class concerts. Sits in the front row and then stands for the entire show recording it with her XL iPad.

Don't women having affairs get REALLY comfortable at the man's house... ?

I don't know why I see her as Mayella Ewell every time this photo comes up.

You know what? After I read the Cillizza article and watched the short video, it occurred to me that Conway was probably trying to take a picture and not get in the way of the news media taking multiple pictures from farther away. I'm one of the pps who couldn't figure out why she was taking it from that odd angle. When I watched the video, I heard lots and lots of cameras clicking so that's when I guessed she probably thought standing up and taking a picture would ruin the shots of the news media.

Kinda dumb because she obviously got into someone's line of sight anyway. And they took many many pictures (judging by the clicks). She could have stood up and taken one quickly and sat down again. But it all makes sense to me now.

I still hate her but it's because she will lie about anything. But her sense of decorum in the oval office? - seems okay to me now.

I believe her and Trump are having an affair. Her husband is ugly, so Trump is a lateral move in the looks department.

I wholeheartedly agree with the Washington Post columnist who wrote that if you focus on criticizing trivialities, such as whether or not KAC demonstrates enough decorum when she is in the Oval Office snapping photos of, and for, visiting dignitaries; then people will start to tune you out - and rightly so - when you criticize the Administration on the issues that do matter.

I wholeheartedly think our nation in general looks like a bunch of neanderthals at this point when we are just writing off decorum because it is nitpicking.

She could have done all of that and kept her knees together. She has no decency.

THE NEWS MEDIA loses credibility when they focus on trivialities with the same weight as big stuff

I as a regular human am free to laugh at this cavalcade of buffoons and their buffoonery. Trumps ketchup, Kellyanne's couch squatting and Spicer's ineptitude are all I have to enjoy about this farce.

It is not that we are writing off decorum. KAC, as was explained in today's Wapo, was very awkwardly attempting to take a group photograph of, and perhaps for(?), the visiting dignitaries. Her body position is indecorous, but the reason for that is well-intentioned. If the press criticizes KAC for her lack of decorum in this instance, and overplays that criticism, then it begins to look like they are ganging up on a person. Also, since there is a reasonable explanation for the pose, the media criticism begins to look "made up" or "fake", because KAC was not really demonstrating a lack of decorum or respect, she was just being awkward. Most of us can see that.

We aren't outraged. We are just laughing at her for the uncouth boor that she is.
