Just asking.

Should we move Kellyanne to Entertainment? Fine with me. Just click the Report button and ask Jeff to move the thread, if you think it belongs somewhere else.

Did Jeff start this thread?

According to today's WaPo KAC was just caught in an awkward moment while trying to position herself to take a group photo. That must be the true story because we know the WaPo is no KAC fan.

That was pretty obvious from the get go. She still looks ridiculous. Chaffetz would have launched an investigation if a picture of Michelle just feet up on an Oval Office couch during an important meeting surfaced.

The weirdest posts are the ones where one side projects some imaginary scenario as to what the other side would do based of their own wish fulfillment.

This is obviously a nothingburger.

Only it is something.

It is a complete lack of respect for the Oval Office. You do not put feet on the sofa and you REALLY do not put feet with SHOES on the SOFA. I am baffled that no one is getting this. I do not let my kids put shoes on the sofa in my house and my house IS NOT THE WHITE HOUSE. What are people not getting about this?

They don't even care if we are compromised by Russia so I can see how this doesn't faze them.

KAC would not feel comfortable putting her bare feet on Putin's couch. Read into that what you will.

+10000

Dirty gross shoes on a white sofa.

Cannot tell you the number of thread people have started over the years over in Off Topic about how they make even guests remove shoes in their homes and will not wear shoes in the house, yet people are not phased that KAC has her dirty heels on the white Oval Office sofa because "she was trying to take a photo" that she could have just stood up to take".

The disrespect and lack of manners is really sad.

Outrage over nothing.

"This is all par for the Internet outrage/partisan police."

SO TRUE and DCUM could be exhibit 1!!

Why couldn't she take the same picture without sitting on the sofa with shoes on, or GASP, just by standing up?

Why does it matter?

But if she did squat down for a low shot like she is trying to get there would be criticism of her doing that in a dress.

It matters because her feet wouldn't be on the sofa.

And she should know she's possibly being photographed and under scrutiny.

That is why it matters.

I doubt "squatting low" would recieve the same feedback as shoes on the sofa is getting. Please.

Yes, the GOP thrives on this!! They are the masters of this.

Well, I would notice that she was taking a photo from an unflattering angle. "Up the nose" is not a good look.

The outrage here is so hysterical.

Yes, she was preparing to take a group picture. Read the WaPo article in which Cillizza points out how “incredibly dumb” this “controversy” is.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/02/28/the-kellyanne-on-the-couch-controversy-is-so-incredibly-dumb/?tid=pm_pop&utm_term=.448bead6bc44

And, then look at the picture that was taken moments right after the one that is causing such outrage on the left.....
