We need to be honest and have an open conversation about these issues. Having videos like ths are one important way to address issues like that. However, when these videos are removed from Youtube, the people who NEED to see that video are unable to see it. And how is THAT helping the conversation? SMH at this. |
About what issues? What are the important issues "like that" that are being stifled because the video was taken down? Specifically, I mean. I suspect you're actually against the video and just trolling for agitation. |
I don’t agree at all. Videos like this are insulting and, quite honestly, comedic. Those who you think NEED to see this will not be swayed by a condescending, insulting video like this. Seems to me it is a bunch of millennials preaching to people because THEY think people don’t know any better. Kind of like my millennial children thinking they know everything about life when they have not experienced a fraction of what I have. |
people were having an honest conversation about it in the comments section - that it was the worst video to grace youtube since the Ghostbusters reboot trailer. However, since the proles were engaging in badthink, it had to come down. There are plenty of reaction videos on youtube now, so yes people can still see the video, and there is a conversation. Just not the one MTV thought we were supposed to have. |
Your mention of the Ghostbusters trailer tips off what part of the internet you crawled from. |
So I guess instead of this we need condescending, insulting people like you preaching down at us? And I also find it ironic that you are bitching about what your millennial children know and think given you were the one who was supposed to be raising them, teaching them and mentoring them. |
Hmmm... Interesting. So the freakout and hysteria is about a perception of something being discriminatory toward white men. How awful that is. And how unacceptable. Gee, now maybe think about the same thing, except substitute blacks or latinos or gays, et cetera and take note of the fact that you weren't freaking out when the discrimination was targeting them. See the problem? |
No. Your assumptions are incorrect. The issue is not the target here (white men), but rather the principle of group-based stereotyping and judgment. I do "freak out" (if by "freak out" you mean speak out against) about discrimination against any group. Now that we've straightened that out, please explain the problem to me. |
New Year's Resolution for Black People: Why don't you fill in the blank for us, jsteele? |
So tiresome. Would you please stop using silly catchphrases? At least say "have a cow", "cowabunga" or "eat my shorts." |
I'm white and I think it's hilarious because it's a feeble, fruitless "attack" by insipid, clueless, loser SJW's to "strike back." It's like a little baby trying to grab a pacifier from an 800 pound gorilla. |
When things that aim to be funny fall flat it's kind of cringe inducing. Such was the case here. |
+ a million |
No. Read the comments section on any political news article (especially on conservative sites), or YouTube videos by millennial conservatives, or conservative message boards. Some of their political views are quite good and valid, but the victim mentality is off-putting and belies the claim that they're for free speech and personal responsibility. Actually, you don't even have to go off-site to find an example. Just go back to 11:18 on page 2. -"War" on white men -white boys' collective self-esteem being damaged by others in this "war" -Implication that white men are oppressed |
