Doesnt it seem like there are still a lot of people left for it to already be the finale? Hannah for dark horse win! |
It does......and what is the legacy advantage? That could be the game changer and Ken very well may win the game because of that alone. Hannah would be a huge upset, but she has played the game and not sat in the shadows. |
This is twice someone has used a medical reason to plead their case to the jury, and ends up winning. Sorry Adam, you didn't make that many moves. I think Hannah did fairly well at jury, until she said, trust cluster. |
I think Adam did the best job of presenting himself to the jury, which is why he won.
Ken did not make a good jury presentation. He spent too much time talking about himself as the "loyalty and trust" candidate when he should have talked about his game strategy and the fact that he was an underdog from the beginning and how he was the ultimate survivor due to that. His loyalty/trust resume was also clearly ruined by voting David out. Bad strategy for final tribal. Hannah spent too much time in rebuttal mode and stepping on other peoples' questions. She did not present a cogent theory of her game. Too much time presenting herself as the neurotic survivor overcoming neurosis which was clearly David's edit. So much depends on self-presentation at final tribal. |
Adam's win was so emotional. You could hear a pin drop in that theatre when Adam was talking. I was rooting between Ken and Adam but Adam's win was perfect. |
I thought Adam was a total douche. Annoyed he won. His mom story is definitely emotional. However, my reaction was that he should have stayed home with her and gone on the next season of Survivor, which was clearly an option for him.
To me, Ken was never going to win so he's either giving Adam a million dollars or his trusted ally David a million dollars. And he chose Adam. I would have been about 100x time more satisfied if David won. |
I knew he'd win. They love giving the win to the dying-mom people. My son said he'd like to go on Survivor next year, and I told him I'm not ready to die. |
What was going on with David's swollen face and that red dot on his cheek? |
Why on earth did Adam win? I was totally surprised. What game move did he make? I would've thought Ken first, Hannah second, Adam third. |
The jury messed up this vote.....but of course won't admit to it. |
How was unanimous? I'm totally confused. Yes it is a sad story but what was his game play? Did everyone just not like Ken and it just wasn't that clear throughout the season? Not a well-done ending at all. |
Poor Ken, his social awkwardness is what kept him from winning. He was a true survivor, he knew how to survive out there, win challenges, find food, etc. he just didn't know how to play the social side of the game. I hate when a winner is chosen based on their personnal life instead of their gameplay. Adam was annoying, he was all over the place with his alliances and voting strategies, everyone else just tolerated him. Then he starts crying and now they feel sorry for him and give him a million dollars. Sorry about his mom, but that was not a reason to vote for him. Too bad David did not make it to the final three, he would have been a well-deserved winner. |
I found this whole season so weird, or maybe it was just the editing. Seemed like no one liked David - then everyone talked about how he was a shoo in to win. I don't get why Ken or even Hannah weren't more of a threat than David (or Adam!) |
I just watched the last episode. It was boring. Not sure why Jeff kept referring to it as so great. I was shocked that Adam won. Did heein becaise people took pity on his relationship w his dying mom? I loved Hannah's transformation and thought she should win. I thought Ken would also go far. Yawn overall. |
Love trust cluster. I want to be part of one. |
