OP, of course you can get one! I see women of all ages with them.

The 72 yo lady who runs my ladies Bible study has one! A small stud one.

I had one from mid-30's till age 48-I got annoyed after it came out accidentally and I let it grow back. However-I'm thinking about getting it done again. I also had a small stud-I didn't like the loop ring on my nose.

Midlife crisis. Don’t do it. I don’t find it sexy and I think you will regret it later in life. I do find belly rings sexy.

My friend did it for her 50th birthday. She lives in NYC and is in academia as well. People are a lot less judgmental there.

Don't do it. The people over the age of 30 with a nose ring are attention-seeking and it is a huge red flag. Besides it makes you look utterly goofy. There is no "discreet" with a nose ring.

I know someone who died in a car accident. Currently trying to get all friends / family to sell their cars. No lie.
