Not that poster, but the idea of fearing God is found in many religions. In Islam, believers are supposed to submit to God and it is believed that the submission will bring peace. |
+1 I know countless people who are not religious who are in loving, committed relationships & who do not abuse drugs. Most would, however, look into taking prescription drugs (as prescribed) if needed to treat a diagnosed condition, be it physical or psychiatric. This is not a sign of weakness but of sound judgement. |
No. I am a Catholic. We don't prothletize but I still think your post is rude and insulting to many wonderful people of faith. |
Catholics most certainly do proselytize- have you met a Charismatic Catholic witness? Regardless, if you are not seeking teenagers into your worldview, then certainly you of all people can understand why the OP would be concerned that her child has become a proselyte. If you see nothing wrong with that, then, in fact, you do believe in exactly what has happened to this child. Bottom line- if Mom is concerned, game over. It's not their family belief. |
Wow, I certainly hope most parents are more open-minded. This daughter wanting to learn more about Christ is not a bad thing. |
