I'm 5'7.5 and 138. I wear 2 in Banana Republic and Ann Taylor and 4 in other brands. Height and weight only tell a portion of the story, so I wouldn't get up in arms about differences in sizing. |
5’7. 126 pounds |
5’2” and 123. I wear a 4 for a looser fit and a 2 for a more snug fit at most places |
There was once s poster here who claimed to be a 6 at 200 pounds. |
5'5" 130 lbs |
5'2.5" 122# size 4, sometimes a 2 depending on brand...I carry my weight in my booty |
5'3" 109 lbs 34-26-34
I feel like vanity sizing varies. I can be anything from a 0-4 depending on the cut and fit. Jeans used to be so simple. Now with stretch everything, skinny vs high/low waist and my bubble butt...Joe's jeans are where it's at! Sometimes I can get away with petite for length but for some reason, manufacturers seem to believe that petite sized woman are thick. I have a normal-long torso with proportionate hip/leg ratio but petites are not what they used to be. Saks had the most incredible petite selection, with entire floors dedicated by designer. Those were the days! |
I'm the same as many posters here, around 133-135 and 5'3''. But I wear a size 8-10?!?!?!??
For the most part, it's body fat vs. muscle mass. Per pound, muscle takes up much less space in the body. So you might be the same height/weight as someone and a considerably different size, because of variations between muscle & fat., they may wear several sizes smaller, because the pounds of muscle takes up much less room in their body than pounds of fat. [I am NOT saying you're fat, but at your same height/weight, an athletic person will carry less of it] A pp here. My weight fluctuates based on what I eat, but my size fluctuates based on how much (and type) I exercise. [don't come for me i'm quoting a stranger] |
5-5 120 maybe less
I have lost weight during the pandemic |
Thank you for reviving this year old thread. This issue has been weighing heavily on me. |

5'3 wiegh 103 and size 4 in US jeans |

Get one. I'm petite and had big droopy boobs. Waited until I was 52 to get a reduction and lift. Should have done it as soon as I was done having children ...... It's expensive but the sooner you pay for the procedure, the more time you get to enjoy the results. |
I weigh about 100 Lbs. so I think I should buy a size 4 in jeans? I do it online, so am hoping that is about right? Any thoughts? |
