Attraction at the gym

I could tell he looked almost frustrated that I would avoid his eyes this week. On the one hand, I am relieved, but on the other bummed. Was a glimmer of excitement in an otherwise dull existence, but I know I should count my blessings and move on. Just thought I would provide you with an update since you have all been so responsive.

This whole situation is just super hot. It sounds kind of like a romance novel...

17:03 here. Definitely not, based on her description. I'm completely average -- okay, less than, due to being follicly challenged -- for my age.

17:03 I can guarantee you you made her day/week. By the way you wrote your post,it is clear you are not a creepy gawker.

Um, not necessarily. I have dudes stare at me in the gym frequently and 99% of the time i HATE it. I have taken to listening to feminist podcasts as I workout and scowling, just to make sure I am giving off a "Do Not Approach" vibe, because it was getting annoying having my workouts interrupted by someone attempting to chat me up.

I feel like a lot of women feel the same way, particularly when they are doing the weights and it is just a cesspool of dudes around them.

1703 here again. What I was doing was completely inappropriate. I think there's a difference between noticing + appreciating a beautiful woman, and leering at her. I was doing the latter. There's an animalistic, non-rational part of me that fantasizes about her -- which I think is normal -- but I shouldn't be going around staring at her, or other women I find attractive.

If they are really really hot I will entertain it. There is a guy there now, he's a trainer, that has a really cute face as well. I'm starting to make eye contact back. If he asks me out I will probably say yes, unless he is really awkward or rude or something.

That is very mature and smart of you. I totally agree.

Unless you have a really big dick. In that case you should not only leer, but take her hand, put it on your pumped up love muscle, and tell her you will die if you can't fuck her up against your car right now. That always works, at least if she posts on DCUM.

If it's at the gym and you're single then I recommend you go for it. Try the steam room for even more fun.

Steam room? I think the squat rack would be better.
