Say Yes to the Dress

And what about the pink Sunday rose dress that they seem to sell so many of?
I think that one is hideous also.

The worst thing about the Stripper Fairy (I love that description!) dresses is that if they were lined, they'd be a little OTT, but perfectly fine. Instead they look like something someone with too much money and no sense should be wearing under her dress. Or maybe to bed.

Was married in 2006 and was a size 14, wore a strapless dress as a full 36C. I have never been comfortable with lots of cleavage showing so a significant amount was spent on the proper bra as well as alterations. The dress a PP posted for plus size women is lovely and if anything like that were available at the time, I definitely would have considered it. I do agree that many women are just being entirely too trashy, regardless of size, in their bridal wear.

I checked out the Pnina site. I think out of all of her collections over the years, there are maybe two or three I would consider, but I would have to be a size 6 before that would even happen.

Ugh, yes - hideous! So are the dresses with skirts made out of (goose?) feathers. It makes the bride look like some sort of demented bird.

The Sunday Rose wedding dress looks like someone got creative with a bunch of toilet paper.

I love it! Very ethereal. But that said, it's strapless and I'm so over strapless.
