Different PP here. Too much hate oozing out of every one of atheist PP's posts for this to be a happy person. Atheist PP needs to step away from the keyboard. Or, as another PP suggested, stop insulting internet strangers and DO something about child brides and the next Bush (I don't want Jeb either). That would be meaningful!

Yup. PP posted a list of issues that really rankle him, that is a great place for him to start some kind of activism if he hasn't already.

I am. I work at a non-profit with a meaningful mission. A non-profit that does work many fundamentals would have problems with.

And quit with the calling me a hateful, unhappy person. It makes zero sense based on what I've posted. Just because I don't believe in god or an afterlife doesn't mean I'm not happy. People can have opinions and a desire to express them without being miserable. And FWIW, I only joined this post about one page ago, so if somebody earlier said something that offended you, it wasn't me.

I am not going to defend religion to you, is that what you want? I don't understand you.

Obviously.

I was asked how religion controls our lives and I gave examples. Do you still stand by your assertion that people are free to live their lives however they want, including free of religion?

As a Gore/Obama voter myself, I think your confusing things. You don't want CONSERVATIVES controlling your life.

If you just joined a page ago, then you weren't the one calling religion a "crock of shit" and "BS" DNS calling believers "pathetic."

Go back and read Atheist PP's posts, and then see if you still want to defend him. You can also rethink whether Atheist PP is a happy person with a fulfilling life.

I'm not the poster who said people are free to live however they want. BTW, I'm not mad at you or your position, though I don't agree or relate.

Oops. Spellcheck didn't attend the same top 3 grad school I did. Tell me this never happened to you on an iPhone... Your desire to get down in the mud with other posters is unrelenting, and sad.

What's that you were just saying, about how your online life is so meaningful?

We could start with the holy war waged by both Bushes. Life has certainly changed due to terrorism and the reason for that is religion. The reason white man came to this country was because of religion. I mean, the rules you religious people live your life by are prescribed to you from the "word of god", no? I am surrounded by people that refuse to take responsibility for their lives because they think it's out of their control. Women all over the world are subjugated and oppressed and have no control over their own lives and bodies.

C'mon, you all can't be that obtuse.

Huh? WTF are you talking about?

I think someone summed it up quite well earlier. A person dishing out so much vitriol towards others for no apparent reason cannot be happy. He or she is seriously sick, if you ask me.

Quote the vitriol, please. I don't know what you're talking about.

Troll move.

Obviously,PP was describing someone else's vitriol, and if you can't see the difference, you're either not very bright or you're a troll.
