But the fact is when the rhetoric gets cranked up, really gets cranked up like it arguably has in this thread, these kinds of comments are inevitable. I'm all for open dialogue - I like to think that I've gotten to the point in my life where I'm not just going to boycott a website because I feel like the moderator has crossed the line - but it's a struggle for me, and one that I'm guessing others have lost. Either way, it's tainted things for me - not sure I'll ever appreciate this site the same way again.

I am having a really hard time understanding why anti-Semitism deserves as much attention right now as stemming the massacre of innocent children in Gaza. It seems like the height of narcissism to think that should weigh too heavily on anyone's mind until the killing stops.

Just look at the targeting: Hamas targets only civilian areas by firing blindly into entire cities. Israel warns Gazans by text, by phone, by leaflet, by warning drop to the roof. It advises Palestinian civilians to temporarily relocate south, but who forces civilians to stand in harms way? Hamas.

This sounds "so nice" in theory, but have you seen the actual videos of how it is done?
I'm not even talking about the fact that they have only 4 hours of electricity - to none- if they are already fleeing - you can wonder who has a working phone at that point, no I'm talking about that "warning knock". It is a small missile onto the roof before the big one comes. It is terrifying, shakes the entire building, damages windows.... The 'big one' comes only about ONE MINUTE behind. It levels the building. Can you imagine readying your family, your children in ONE MINUTE and get them all out of a multi story building, over staircases, possibly in the middle of the night, possibly in darkness (no electricity)???

I'm with that PP. I am increasingly suspicious of Jeff's posts. The video of the man he posted who was supposedly shot by Israeli snipers shows no blood. If the man was hit in the hand with a sniper's bullet, there would be more than a smear. There are other inconsistencies as well. Something is not right with that video.

None. At least, no effort by Hamas. Thank God for advanced Israeli warning radar and the super costly Iron Dome that saves so manny innocent lives which Hamas seeks to take.

As for lifting the blockade?

Why? To re supply the terror rocket arsenal of hate?

If Hamas promises to use Israeli cement for schools and homes instead of attack tunnels under Kibbutzim, why would anyone believe them now?
