| OP, are you catholic? |
+1. Ok, OP, if you're going to get a 40k bracelet, at least get a NICE one!!! |
|
that bracelet is butt ugly.
so #1, it is not attractive. #2, nobody will be impressed because it is ugly. #3, nobody will be impressed thinking you spent $40K because it looks like a $1,500 piece of jewelry. #4, it is a waste of money. |
The point is, that $40,000 gold nail is a joke. It is not classic, it is a total rip-off. Nobody looks good wearing it. It is not art, has no enduring charm. As a whimsical piece, it deserves its 15 minutes of fame. It is not classy or beautiful. You will have buyer's remorse after blowing so much money on something other people will only pretend to like. |
You poor dear. Money cannot buy good taste. |
Why should she care what other people like or pretend to like? Do you people really make your purchasing decisions this way??? I'm assuming if she's buying 1 $40k bracelet that she and her husband can probably afford plenty other things |
I am the PP you are quoting and I never said I liked (much less that I would buy) this particular bracelet. I only defended high end jewelry on principle, as OP requested. |
Haha! You think somebody who buys a $40k piece of jewelry doesn't care what people think of her? HAHAHAAAAHAHAHAAA! nouveau riche. |
| Op I have the juste un clou diamond ring and love it. I have a handful of Cartier pieces that are timeless. Go for it!! |
Think about what you're saying. If its true that she cares what her peer group thinks and she's that caught up in other people's expectations, then THOSE very rich people must love this damn bracelet because she's buying it even though most of us here don't like it and had no clue that it even existed. |

Goodness. Looks like the majority of the people posting here have absolutely no sense of history. Aldo Cipullo was one of the greatest jewelry designers of our time. I so wish I could afford one of his black onyx circles bracelets. Someday maybe.
OP I hope you'll come back after you purchased it to let us know! |
