Kelly Clarkson needs to fire her stylist

Has it occurred to anyone that she chooses what she wears because SHE likes it and doesn’t want a stylist to define her look? I think she’s fabulous in every way! Like I tell my kids, people who feel good about themselves don’t want to bring other people down.

Amen. Kelly strikes me as a person who feels good about herself (and has worked to get to that point).

This is the post that bumped the thread after 9 months. Not a mention of anything derogatory about Kelly's body or personality, just her dress. Just saying the dress was ugly.

I didn't know anything about her until I heard her song on her show and she is really good. Agree the dress she wore on the Christmas special was super ugly. She can look good with the right clothes. Stick to solid colors-- no prints + horse blanket prints.

Hi, don't know why her designer dresses Kelly with prints, poka-dots, flowers, etc. It makes her heavier. Please don't add those wide thick belts, too. She needs to dress simple and plain color outfits. She's not tall, so those outfits makes her heavy on camera. Please get a better designer. You can do better. #fan from day 1 that I voted for you on American Idol.

I think she's proof that the industry doesn't ONLY reward women who are as skinny as they are talented. It's no doubt harder to get ahead if the suit doesn't fit (I hope I am not the only one old enough to remember that Brady Bunch episode) but I think we have evidence that women who are not stick thin *can* reap the rewards of talent, drive, and luck. At least some of them, sometimes. Then they have to face sh-t like this thread of course.

Yeah, I mean the fact that Kelly has a talk show is proof. And Drew Barrymore doesn't have the typical tiny Hollywood body ever since ... we'll say having her first kid?

Kelly is better looking and has more money and is much younger than many of the harpies on DCUM.

Instead of whining online about people she does not know and saying they look fat, she has a talk show and gets paid to chat with celebrities that you will never meet.

I don’t care what she looks like. I got to hear her do a 10am sound check at a show I was working. She just rolled in and sang a 70’s funk standard like it was nothing. I work around professional singers all the time. She’s in a different league.

I don't think pppeople are tringbto be mean but to be helpful to Kelly
I too think the outfits I see her wear are just atrocious and make her look frumpy.
She is a beautiful girl and needs to find a stylist who understands how to dress a normal but larger figure in clothes that flater her figure not cover it in ridiculous ruffles belts and bold ugly prints.
Sorry but she could loo so great if she had a good stylist.
