OP, I think it's good that you let your DH know that you have been smoking. Even though you weren't lying in the usual sense, you were lying by omission.

I urge you to work on eliminating the social smoking, however. It really is intensely bad for you, even if you only do it occasionally. Replace that cigarette with a tasty beverage.

Damn, if people were this fanatic about real life issues in the world, we would all be living in peace.

OP, do whatever you want. You know the risks. As long as smoking is not illegal, if you want to light up, go ahead. Half of these hypocrites demeaning you as If you're the devil are probably alcoholics, pill poppers, smoke weed, use other drugs or a combination.

I have a bigger problem with people who speed greatly, rapists, murderers, etc than someone smoking. Get over yourself people.
