This is a fine attitude for child maybe third grade or second grade and above..not for nursery or first grade..they are too young and should have to die because of a screw up. |

children with allergies sit at an allergy free table and the teachers monitor them closely. As long as the school allows it, I am sending nuts with lunch. |
My dd is allergic to peanuts, and she sits at the peanut free table. But, the teacher does not monitor them closely at all. In fact, the teacher doesn't eat in the lunchroom with the children. The cafeteria is overseen by one teaching assistant and various parent volunteers. The best thing to do is role model with your child and practice different scenarios. |
