Baby will only nap with cat in crib.. would you allow it?

OP, I was ok with it before the pic. Baby is big and strong, as babies go, cat will move if she needs him to.

And post-pic, all I have to say is: of course it's an orange tabby! Best cats ever, especially with kids around. My orange tabby has been happily (or at least, patiently) putting up with my kid's shenanigans since the day we brought her home.

I don't think I would allow it for many of the reasons PP's suggested, not to mention DH would be super-pissed because he hates the cat (he's allergic).

Wait, do you all live together? Why did the poor man agree to having a cat if he's allergic?

PP here..thanks SOOOO much for posting the pic. This totally made my day!

The cat preceded the husband. He's been around for almost 13 years, DH only 10. DH didn't know he was allergic to the cat when he popped the question. Doesn't seem to bother him too much as long as he stays out of our room and he doesn't do litter duty (fun times for him when I was pregnant).

I just caught them like this and I have to say I am a bit less comfortable with this position:

Wow, this is really awesome. What a special relationship. I honestly don't know what'd I'd do, so have no good advice. But, i'd definitely have a hard time separating these two.

Keep snapping pics, cute captiom for each, and yoi've takem care of presents for grands, aunt, incles, and good friends for all gifts (maybe make a calendar) , voila, Christmas is taken care of. These are wonderful! Lucky twosome.

PS, this kitty is protetive and will mind her just as she would her own kitten.

Op, you made my day with these absolutely adorable pictures!! I would be fine with the cat in there. I'm a mom of three and a cat lover.

I see that paw, just waiting...waiting for her to remove her thumb so he can get his kitty paw over her mouth. He is a crafty kitty. Watch Craigslist for suspicious baby's breath postings.

Haha! Will do. Hopefully he realizes that if he steals her breath, he won't have anyone to snuggle with. That should be enough of a deterrent.

That is the cutest thing EVER.

Don't cats step in their litter box making their paws dirty with litter dust and excrement particles? And then the cat is putting those dirty paws on the baby's face and crib sheets?
Anonymous
Yes, the poopy kitty litter paws are unavoidable. Cats keep themselves pretty clean, but anytime you have animals, there will be poopy paws and tongues.

That is so cute I can't even take it! I would totally be fine with that!
