IAAT Test Results

My DC had 99 on IAAT, 600 sol and told me she got 100s on all the math assessments at her 6th grade AAP center. The teachers still did not want her to take Alg I in 7th. Strongly cautioned us against it. I said fine, we'll wait. Well, she did it anyhow and had a 99% final grade in Alg I and is also a 99% in geometry currently. The 6th grade teachers don't always know enough about the middle school curriculum to make the right call.

Not until January of 6th grade.

FCPS does not give letter grades in elementary school and does not give A+....

I’m sure PP meant 99-100% vs A+

The school doesn’t prepare the kids, the prep centers do.
