To the bitch in the parking lot at the Bethesda Giant on Old Georgetown Rd

I think Mercedes owners are the worst--they think they own the road. I can deal with BMW drivers because they [mostly] are very good drivers.*

*Unless they are driving a beat-up, souped-up, or otherwise tampered with BMW, or they are over the age of 55.

Hey, I'm a MBZ driver and resent that remark. Then again they're both AMGs, so I guess I get a pass, no?

Seriously, Prius drivers are the worst!!.....<< runs and leave thread>> ...just kidding...

And Metro is a crappy, overcrowded and unreliable alternative in most cases. I'm not a road rage person at all, but than damn GW Northbound rock stabilization project right now has me feeling like a rabid animal by the time I get home from work. 45-50 minutes to drive a little over 5 miles will make anyone insane. There are a million similar examples all over the DC area.

This is why I bicycle to work. Exercise, stress relief, saves money, always on time.

I laughed yesterday through this whole string and guess who cuts me off today? A white BMW, Maryland plates. Zipping down the George Washington Parkway at 80 MPH. I'm in the slow lane, speeding, as it is at 70 MPH, and she's tailing me. Apparently no one has ever instructed her the lane on the left is for passing. She's so close I know she is going to rear-end me if someone in front of me breaks or a deer shoots out, so I pull into the passing lane. And she continues past me on the right now at 90 MPH honking and flashing lights in the slow lane. She continues at 80 in the slow lane on other drivers' tails. Then shifts to fast lane. I move back to slow lane. She moves back to slow lane to illegally pass someone in the left lane and cut back in front. Then she foes it again, tries to illegally pass on the right by moving to the right. I move back to left lane and end up passing her laughing all the way because now she's stuck behind some slow pokes and constructions. She continued this behavior all the way down to the airport. Tailgating and illegally passing cars on the right. And did she ever get ahead of me plodding along at 60/70? Nope. So you are all right about BMR's. I just hadn't paid attention. Thanks for the info!

same PP. Had to make the same drive yesterday on George Wash. Parkway and just for the fun of it checked all the posted signs. It's now only 40 MPH all the way up and down due to the construction. BMRs beware!

19:18 - if this really happened, call the non emergency number tight a plate/description/photo/video. Easy.

people who drive BMW"s are assholes. my dad always used to say it and it's often true. obviously generalizing but a LOT of jackasses seem to drive them.

Haha I saw a BMW parked in Tyson's with the DC plate "me frst". I think you're sorta right. And I drive a BMW myself.

Anonymous wrote:Fuck you.

It's not my fault you were "late for work." That's not an excuse to be a raging bitch and hit my rear view mirror as you pull out and almost run over my stroller. Fuck you and your butch haircut and bumper stickered silver minivan. What the fuck did I ever do to you?

How did they hit your rear view mirror? That mirror is inside your car, in the middle of your windshield.

I was wondering this as well. Also, your stroller does not belong in the driving way.

And both times I slammed my fist down on the hood of the car and yelled "YOU ALMOST HIT ME" loud as hell and stodd in front of the idiot and their car for a minute grilling them.

It certainly made me feel better

I used to live in that neighborhood. People avoided that parking lot b/c people were so aggressive. Once I saw a car run into a child in the parking lot. The mother was, of course, outraged (child not hurt very much) NO ONE would come to her aid and be an eyewitness. The the guy started screaming at the woman that he had been falsely accused. I was in the store idly looking out the window from 25 feet away, and I knew no one would believe me either. A bit stressful living there. The people who worked in the stores would just be like...this is everyday.

I thought the Whole Foods in Silver Spring had the meanest drivers ever. On my first mother's day, I did circles, waiting for a spot to open, and was flipped off and yelled at by another woman, saying, "Its mother day, bitch! Give me that spot!" I didn't need to yell at her, as karma will take care of that, but I won't shop there anymore either.
