No one mentioned Paris because she is no longer on anyone's radar. She is proof positive that a lot of these non-actresses/singers etc. really do only have 15 minutes of fame.

I feel bad for Lindsay too, but I still don't like her because she's had 100 chances, 100 wake up calls, and she's wasted so much of her life and opportunities. It's hard to get past her sense of entitlement, child star or not.

I am really ready for the Kardashians to go away. Though that recent SNL skit with them was really funny.

+2. I've never understood the deal about JA. She's just really not attractive. I especially agree about the Kardashians and J.Lo. If you look at early pictures of J.Lo she looks nothing like she looks today. There is nothing that seems real about J.Lo.

I really cannot stand J.Lo and Kim K. Because they are on the news all the time, but they have nothing to say. Both are shallow and would do anything for fame. They lost their ethnicity through plastic surgery. I don't want my daughter thinking that all you need to succeed is to get a nose job and butt enhancements.

look, I was just trying to put my finger on exactly what it was about her that bugs me. I didn't say ALL perky people annoy me - she just is perky to an extreme.

I really think you are taking my statement to an extreme, too. I am allowed not to like Taylor Swift. I am sorry if that offends YOU in some way. I don't go around the world starting "I Hate Taylor Swift" web pages or anything. I also would prefer my child idolize her than any number of the other pop tarts. I just personally do not care for her - end of story.

I don't find Dolly's perkiness annoying - I am not a country fan, but I am amused by Dolly. Again, I was just trying to put into words what exactly about Taylor Swift bugs me, and I'm still not sure I got at the exact reason. I also wasn't one of the people who said I didn't understand her fame, so she's not even on my "why the hell is this person famous?" list. I am just not a fan, that's all.

Wow PP. I am the original Taylor Swift defender in the first part of this post and I think you unnecessarily took this thread up a notch. It's a light-hearted thread about annoying celebs, mainly starlets. Deep breaths.

Zooey Deschanel is starting to annoy me. I thought she was good in 500 Days of Summer but found it strange she was the girl cast to drive all guys insane with her clueless irresistible quirkiness. Now, it's happening again with her new show - apparently she is supposed to be this irresistible girl who has no idea how irresistible she is. I just don't get the fascination. It's like she is the only attractive, quirky female around.

Also, her commercial for cotton is pretty annoying. Sad that she just divorced that indie rocker though.
