I think it's her perkiness that annoys me.  which is dumb, because I used to be the perky person who annoyed other people.  But, she just rubs me the wrong way.  Yes, she's a much better role model than others - 100% agreed.  Doesn't mean she doesn't still bug me.[/quote]

look, I was just trying to put my finger on exactly what it was about her that bugs me.  I didn't say ALL perky people annoy me - she just is perky to an extreme.

I really think you are taking my statement to an extreme, too.  I am allowed not to like Taylor Swift.  I am sorry if that offends YOU in some way.  I don't go around the world starting "I Hate Taylor Swift" web pages or anything.  I also would prefer my child idolize her than any number of the other pop tarts.  I just personally do not care for her - end of story.[/quote]
