I believe that Mundo Verde only plans to be at the Cap City location for two years, so keep that in mind. It is a temporary move until they can find a permanent location large enough for a PS-8 school.

Applications after March 31, 2012 are filed on a waitlist by date submitted. Apply on time and you're in a general lottery with everyone else. It's the same way they did it this past year.

Applications after March 31, 2012 are filed on a waitlist by date submitted. Apply on time and you're in a general lottery with everyone else. It's the same way they did it this past year.

I think this means that people who apply after March 31 will be added to the end of the wait list in the order received--[/i]after[/i] people who are wait listed through the lottery. That's an important distinction.

Yes, that's what it means. It specifically says, "The lottery is a random selection of applications through a blind drawing of numbers from a container until the numbers in the container have been exhausted."

This is incorrect, last year they did lottery for all spots including waitlist. The people wh turned in application after lottery deadline were then of course listed in order received.

Right: All people who apply on time will be in the lottery, which will determine initial acceptance and waitlist. People who apply after March 31 will be placed at the end of the waitlist (after people who were in the lottery) in the order their applications are received.
