Why did they get cut? Is it better because of talent or because of new players coming in?

McLean did everyone a favor by leaving the union (even if they acted like spoiled brats on the way out by taking away field space for the remainder of the season). The McLean families are entitled and insufferable.

I just checked the standings and all of the teams on the boys side have terrible records. One team was .500, the rest were all in last or second last place and there was even a team that has a -80 goal differential.

It’s not much better on the girls side once you cut out the 2012 and 2013 teams.

Would be a great boost to the competitiveness in the area if this club could get its act together. I don’t think it’s a case of too many teams, rather a lack of effort by this club to attract the 4-5 quality players they need from neighboring teams. Look at Villarreal, FPYC and grab a couple kids. I doubt anyone drives from more than 8-10 miles to play for FVU. What they have isn’t cutting it.
they are going to lose ECNL. Only matter of time

On the girls side, the 2012s just won the mid-Atlantic after beating Arlington and the 2013s went undefeated and won the mid Atlantic.

FVU is definitely not losing ECNL.

Can 2012 style of play win at U15 and older like it has at U13 and U14?

Will the trapped 2011s who helped the 2012s win this spring go to playoffs with the 2012 team? Are they allowed to?

It was definitely more than kickball, don't insult Arlington like that. Arlington whooped FVU in the fall and FVU won this round. Competition is good for all of the girls. They should all support each other and our region in Seattle.

Arlington also had a key player injured and unable to play.

Sorry, but if MV is the coach (and he is for 2012) then I'm sure he was playing some serious kickball. We all know the drill when we see his teams.

Agreed. Competition is a good thing. Parents saying dumb things are not.

Support all the local teams…rising tides and all.

Did Arlington move the game in the first place because of injuries?

Don’t know about that but Arlington relying solely on the 2 players that get all of accolades and attention is getting boring.
