Unsettled BSC girls, c'mon you can't be surprised?

The older age groups are products of multiple club restructurings. When BRYC and Vienna merged to create BRAVE, there were several unhappy BRYC boys coaches and older players who left to form NVU. The fracture weakened the boys side. Then BRAVE was forced to partner with McLean to form FFx Union. The next year, McLean pulled out of FFx Union. And this year, all clubs are dealing with the age group changes.

That is a lot of change over the course of about 5 years. As noted, the two youngest age groups are strong right now (at least on the girls side). If FFx Union can keep those groups strong, and have some stability, they have a chance to build a stronger program.

Exactly you get it, patience. All is working itself out afer 3 tumultuous yaers. Badge is going nowhere and Union will benefit ultimately from being only show in Fairfax Co.

Shakeups everywhere because of age change. VDA got the ball rolling in VA and everyone else just picking up the scraps. Anyone who says different is clueless

Why cant they get their act together. All kidding aside on the alliances, they are best positioned to get kids around the beltway, but are generally viewed as lower level/ path of least interest. I dont have screenshots of their offers buddy, but they told their teammates that they had offers, paid the deposit and then walked. Knowing the skill level of these kids, I do believe what they are saying and they would have received offers from NVA.

ECNL was going to kick Brave out and coerced McLean into joining after ending Union with SYC. After realizing that VYS and BRYC want to keep doing things the way they were with Brave, McLean decided to leave. Yes the FVU 2013s (really McLean 2013 Green team) and 2012s are good but when Brave floated the idea of getting rid of CW most of the team was planning on leaving. They don't care about FVU, if CW was to go to any other club they would all leave. FVU can continue to post all the fake titles they never actually won or all the pro players that never actually played for FVU (probably the weirdest thing about them posting about players that played before FVU even existed) they are still Brave 2.0 just as bad as the original.

They have a team for next year. Judy perhaps wasn’t built the way you think it was.
