I sometimes shop at Walmart and I am a very nice person. Prices on some items that I use are $2/$3 cheaper at Walmart than at local grocery stores.

But think about this.


How many people does Walmart employ? Yeah, they have many low paid store workers. But they also have well paid accountants, managers, lawyers, marketing people. Some surely make 100-200k and support their families. What about all the truck drivers that have dependable jobs and loads from Walmart? How about people in rural areas that depend on Walmart for cheap food and groceries that they could not afford from more expensive stores.


So maybe look at the big picture on how many people Walmart employs and how many families depend on Walmart for their livelihood.

Oh no. I don't buy from Wal Mart unless I am in a rural area with no real options. I was never huge on Amazon as I didn't like what he did to independent bookstores in the platform's iteration. The problem isn’t poor people. The problem is that Trump and MAGA persuaded them that Ivy League coastal avocado toast eating libs were at fault. And that the way to improve lives in poor rural areas would magically occur if those libs were taken down a notch.

In fact if Harris had been elected, sleepy joe’s policies would be starting to bear fruit in those poor rural areas. Corporations like walmart would be scrutinized for anti competitive behaviors and subject to higher minimum wages. And of course Medicaid would not have been slashed to the detriment of those poor rural Americans.
