How are students supposed to build good extracurriculars when everything is impossible to join?

The “relaxed” parents are really screwing over their child long-term

Boys who couldn't make band have other issues.

Football definitely wouldn't be one of them unless there were male cheerleaders.

Football is selective here. Someone who just shows up in high school will be a bench warmer
