It was not the Feds. She welcomed the extra manpower. It was the Council and activists that drove her away. Remember when she asked for the park at DuPont Circle to be closed during the parade and the Council lost their minds and publicly shamed her? And then right on cue one person was shot and two stabbed? You can’t police effectively in the current environment.
