I hope you’re right. Many states have Republican secretaries of states or electoral officials-some are honorable public officials. Others, not so much. Trump tried his best to pressure Republican officials in Georgia to not certify legitimate votes and failed to influence them. But he may succeed in a different time and place.

A changing dynamic is Trump will very much be a lame duck during election season. His political clock is rapidly winding down.

Yet in the last week, he invaded a country and deposed his leader, tried to criminally charge the Fed Chair and is threatening to take over Greenland. Your imagination can not fathom the damage that Trump and his amoral lawless administration can do.
