Girls DMV Cross Country

Good showing from the local schools this weekend- especially the girls. And it looks like there is a new leader among the girls with West Springfield getting the best time.

West Springfield certainly did well coming in fifth. Robinson, who came in FIRST and is the clear local leader, is also worth mentioning.

I think they were referring to the individual finishes-- though for local girls it was actually Georgetown Visitation highest with a 10th place finish.

Woodson finished ahead of Visitation at the Great American Cross Country Festival last week.

That's fair. I was basing on best hypothetical team times this year, but Woodson has indeed performed better head to head this year.

The next 5 might include some MD teams, including Bethesda Chevy Chase. Robinson is elite level, and then there are a bunch of local teams that might be able to beat each other on any given Saturday.
