Not federal grand juries.

That would be awesome. He’s on video tape assaulting a federal officer.

Multiple current senior officials from DOJ were at January 6th. None of this matters anymore. Law enforcement are suckers, they got rolled by Trump.

And they are on film assaulting cops like this person did?

Except they used batons, sticks, bear spray, and kicks instead of a ham sandwich on January 6th.

Trump thinks it’s okay to beat police officers with a flag pole because he pardoned the guys who did. So, are you saying this would be moot if he had a hostile and not a sandwich?

Please clarify if you’d rather be beaten with a flag pole in a mob or if you’d prefer to have some rando hit you in the shoulder with a meatball sub?

I am asking you if any current Trump officials are on film hitting a police officers. I guess the answer is no.

What is the meaning of being at January 6th. If I was standing at Constitution and 1st but did not enter the Capitol was I "at January 6?" Or was I just hanging out on Constitution?

They just hired the man egging the vicious assault on Falone as he screamed at the rabid mob to kill them all as a lead advisor at DOJ. Yes, it is on film.

And they gathered there in a concerted manner to disrupt a governmental process. very different from reacting to a military show of force in your own neighborhood.

Where are you posting from, because we know it is not DC. Stick to your own backyard because you know nothing about DC and the criminal justice system.

I said what I said. The sandwich thrower was so so comfortable assaulting a black cop. I have seen liberals say online that black and Hispanic cops and ICE should "know better" and quit their jobs.

+1000. Black males literally kill people in DC and they aren't even taken into custody.

I have been on a DC grand jury and petit juries. For the most part, people are very engaged and do ask questions (grand jury) that indicate that they are paying attention. We did not indict on 1-2 charges so it does happen.

He will. And needs to win.

It is very hard for an attorney to argue they did not know it was wrong to assault a cop. I'd love to know what his excuse is - "temporary insanity?"

It was a fu(king sandwich. This is wasting taxpayer money.

But it shows horrible jugement for someone who works in law enforcement.

+1 Childish behavior. Drunk. Screams obscenities and throws food at people when angry. Assaults a law enforcement officer. That's the kind of man we want working in the DOJ?!

If this is indeed the standard, then why have we not fired the entire Trump administration, including the POTUS (ketchup, anyone?).

Don't want this guy back, but the hypocrisy of the GOP is so horridly laughable.

The white POS insurrectionist was so comfortable attacking a white and black cop, and then he got a job in the WH.

Hispanic US citizens are being detained by ICE simply due to their looks. A Hispanic ICE agent himself or their loved one may one day be detained by ICE without a warrant for simply being Hispanic. So yea, they should know better.

MAGA set the bar low. So, a sandwich thrower working for the fed is nothing compared to a convicted insurrectionist working in the WH. Stop the stupid comparison. You will lose.

+1 seriously

You can break into the Capitol, attack cops, and work for the WH, but you can't throw a sandwich at a fed and keep your job as a fed.

WTF

You can even sit idly by for hours while minions you sent to the Capital threaten to kill the VP, bust out windows, chase after fleeing members of Congress, and even engage in combat with law enforcement, and then be elected President — but one person tossing a sandwich at an officer’s bulletproof vest from 2 feet away is a bridge too far for these people. MAGA can’t be taken seriously.

These are totally seperate issues why do people think they are the same? If the next democrat president wants to pardon this person thats on them.

yeh these aren't equal things to compare, if you commit a crime you should be prosecuted, its up to the american people to decide on whether to vote in someone but based on the evidence of the convictions it was seen as not an issue.

Assaulting a federal police officer should be prosecuted and it has nothing to do with a president or somethign else these are seperate. if you did this to someone in the work place as federal employee you would probably be charged and get fired.

These things are in fact totally equal and MAGA has made clear that assaulting police officers is NBD.

Oh really? I was under the impression from lawyers that you can get a grand jusy to indict a ham sandwich, as the saying goes. I think maybe the fact that they won't indict does in truth matter

You can but people also insert their personal opinion. I was on a jury where some people refused to indict on multiple drug and gun cases because they themselves did drugs and/or owned guns.
