Really, you kid can live using his preferred he/him pronouns and everyone will be fine with it. If you're worried about gay people being in the dorms .. yeah, you're too late. You were ALWAYS too late.

Let me guess, you live in the DMV bubble. Haven't you read any polls? Gen Z is extremely anti-woke.

I live in nyc. what can "anti-woke" possibly mean in real terms that impact people.

I know some people really hate those half a dozen athletes so much they've made it their whole personality.. But beyond that? We really taking away gay marriage? Because that's actually extremely anti-woke. It's not pronouns people.

For starters, it means not having every conversation turn into this.

Is the smart social kid worried about being exposed to the LGBTQ community? Go to a school where lots of LDS go.

My rising senior cares about the woke thing. She is focusing on Catholic universities. She's pro-life, so she doesn't want to be shunned when she states her opinion on such things should they come up. She needs a place where she can find her people.

Rice, Johns Hopkins, Dartmouth, Notre Dame fit those descriptions.

Please read. It says ....by not drinking. Still think Dartmouth and ND fit?

Plenty of kids don't drink at ND or drink lightly. I don't know about Dartmouth.

I know the NEU boosters think otherwise, but it is not a top 20 school.

ND is a hard school. Kids study, get involved in activities, go to mass. It's an awesome place. Yes, kids party too. My son was a partier, but he had roommates who worked their asses off (pre-med).

Huh? I have no idea what you're saying except you live in NYC - an even a bigger bubble that's not reality.

You will need to focus on more extreme religious schools. DD is at a Catholic university and many of the kids on campus are pro choice. They may not choose abortion for themselves, but they feel women should have the choice to decide. The same is true at many of the Catholic high schools in the area as well. Not all Catholics are ultra conservative.
