I’ll add another, how many open gay or trans in the Iranian government? Righteous dudes they are ? |
We’ve supported a fair number of terrorists ourselves you know. |
Her head will explode if she has to answer that. |
What genocide? All I see is a country trying to free their hostages from terrorists. Don't like the casualties which ensue? Release the hostages. Hold hostages? Die. Simple. |
1791 the US military was under 1000 people. Therefore the govt wanted militas as a backup plan made of citizens. Well regulated didn't mean red tape but it did mean rules, structure and training. Not to mention it took 30 seconds to reload a gun then, an AR can slaughter a classroom of kids in 30 seconds. Fast forward to now, you have twisted it to desperately cling onto your machine guns and we have the largest and most robust military in the world. At the very least we should have background checks and training requirements and a limit on what type of weapon an average citizen can own. |
Trump is now proposing Obama’s JCPOA as a resolution. I guess when he does it, it is good. |
You have failed. That is not the period-correct definition of the word “regulated”. |
+1. It would be like that old 70’s movie “Scanners”. Messy. |
North Korea has lots of nukes as well and isn't using them. |
+1 Not too mention the standing offer of $1M dollars and protected status and/or safe passage to anywhere in the world for any Gaza resident who brought out an Israeli hostage. Not a single person took the offer. Keeping Israeli hostages was worth more to them. To ALL of them. |
And how many bombs has Trump dropped on the NorKs? |
There's no right or wrong, there are only interests.
Many people in the US and in allied countries believe that Iran having nukes goes strongly against their interests. Nobody actually knows if Iran would be a responsible nuclear armed country, maybe they would. But given their apocalyptic rhetoric towards their rivals and actions they've taken to destabilize the regional balance of power, there is a strong argument in favor of preventing them from getting a bomb through any means necessary. If there's even a 5-10% chance they would use a bomb and not adhere to MAD, we need to stop them. Even if they were rational and wouldn't use a nuke first, having this nuclear deterrent would embolden them to become increasingly belligerent in their non-nuclear aggression. |
Is this what brain on MAGA looks like? |
Does the average Gaza resident have access to hostages and the ability to walk them out? |
+100 The PP is one of the most unsurprising, completely predictable responses in the history of DCUM. |
