No King parade planned across the country

Was the parade going to be held on President Biden‘s birthday? Did it occur at a time when the government was deploying troops within the country and threatening local communities with them?

Exactly! That’ll show people that elections don’t mean anything unless it’s OUR feckless Democrat losers who get elected.

elections mean something--Trump WAS elected. That does not change the fact that he has behaved and acted illegally, unethically, and in an authoritarian and erratic manner No Democrats stormed the capital to overturn the election or filed lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit to try to contest results everywhere.
The protests are not about the election--they are about this administration's egregious behavior.
Just because he is elected does not mean we have to accept his anti democratic antics.

Why are you so personally threatened by people exercising their first amendment rights? What we are talking about is organized, peaceful protest. Not rock throwing. People in democracies are allowed to peacefully protest. People in authoritarian countries are not. Which one do you want to live in?

Sure.

And he should be apprehended and charged (and precedent suggests that he'd be eligible for a Presidential pardon). The vast majority of protests will be peaceful. Are you attempting to make a point?

My point is: you are gaslighting / lying to people and you know it. You did the same thing throughout the BLM riots.

Most of the protests will be peaceful. It's a massive event covering all 50 states so, of course, there will be incidents. If you want to whine, then whine. It's your First Amendment right to do so after all.

Ironic that Jeff's AI bot can't tell the difference between the Army's 250th Anniversary, Biden's birthday and Trump’s birthday.

Trump stole the election, with Putin’s help.

At least it will be good optics when the media shows officers and marines hitting people with a baton while they’re walking. Carrying the US flag might change the course of this brutality. Happened in LA.

Here’s more thuggery. And impersonation.

Are you lawless, abducting people? If not, people won’t throw rocks at your car.

NO!

This parade supports the abolish ICE collective, so it’s important to show solidarity by bringing Mexican flags.

Wrong. This isn’t an ICE protest. This is about dictatorship, so best to bring an American flag to show you love and want to save America.

What difference does it make?

FALSE. This includes opposition to ICE, dum dum.

The celebration was not going to be a wastefully expensive, dictator type parade highlighting weaponry, ala North Korea style. That switch happened during Trump. He also tried to make this style of parade during his first term and the idea was shot down as it wasn't a good look.

Typically, US military parades highlight our PEOPLE who serve or have served rather than a gratuitous display of an excessive amount tanks that rip up roads.

If you want to make the point that this was always planned, in this style with this excessively expensive, display on Trump's birthday, well, stop lying. This is happening this way specifically because Trump is a megalomaniac.

You really are missing the optics here.
