+1 Completely unhinged. |
Are we talking about KJP and Biden, or Musk and Trump? It's almost the same story. |
Same sad story. Vote better people. You're smarter than this. |
No one listened when she was paid to speak. I doubt many will pay to read what a ghost writer wrote for her. |
I honestly don’t know too much about her. But from what I have heard, it doesn’t seem like she is throwing Biden under the bus. Ot seems like she is exposing the people who manipulated him. And judging from the way some people in that circle are trying to get out ahead of it by trashing her, that does seem to be the case.
I am a lifelong democrat, and I am still committed to my party. But that whole situation reeked, and we need to get to the bottom of it. If there were people who did him wrong or did the American people wrong, I want to know and hold them accountable. Taking pride in my party means holding them to a high standard and expecting their best. Not making excuses for them or choosing to ignore. That said, I do think it is very possible that there was not some big coverup or manipulation, and things were not as ominous as they are being made out to be. I think it is quite possible that Biden was simply being a stubborn old man, genuinely felt that he was the only one who could beat Trump, and chose to go back on his word of being a one-termer to save us from Trump. This put all democrats in Washington in a very tough spot. Speaking out against Biden would hand Trump the presidency. And no doubt Biden could govern more effectively from the grave than Trump on his very best day. Either way, it was a mess. I want to know what happened. |
As far as Biden’s incompetence or cognitive decline, he reminds me of a dermatologist I used to go to. The man was quite old when I started seeing him and moved at a snail’s pace. I actually referred to him as Dr. Fossil. But man was he brilliant! He was the most effective and knowledgeable doctor I had ever encountered. After going to him for about five years, I went for my annual checkup, and there was an obvious shift. While that visit was adequate, I knew I wouldn’t be returning the following year. While he could still do his job well, I could see the cognitive decline was starting, and he did not have another year or two or four to be the same caliber of a doctor that he had been and that I needed.
This is what I think was happening with Biden. I think he was absolutely fine to finish out his term. After 50 years in politics, he could do the job from muscle memory alone. But he clearly did not have another four years in him. He certainly didn’t have it in him to run a strong campaign. He became unable to reliably communicate effectively, which is a crucial component of the presidency. He was a great president. Anyone who is willing to really take an objective look at his term cannot deny it. Yes, it took awhile to really get going on immigration, but this is due to his efforts to find long term solutions (such as Root Causes initiative) rather than photo ops, but in the end, his numbers were impressive. So I don’t think it was a Weekend at Bernie’s situation. But I do think people were panicked, knowing that the options were Trump or watching this great politician deteriorate. So, they ended up with a Hail Mary, and it almost worked. |
You know what’s a mess…a felon dismantling our country day by day. I think that might be a wee bit more important to focus on rn. |
And it's just as important to figure out why and how such poor leadership under Democrats got us into this mess. Just a wee bit... |
Biden is the man that Robert Gates spoke about when he said that he was "wrong on nearly every foreign policy and national security issue for the past 4 decades." He was never a smart person. And, he was a horrible president. |
Hysterical, she’s wearing the Democratic Party in the rear view window and she is a woman and African-American |
Yeah, ultimately, I don’t think many people will care. I wonder who the target audience for this book is supposed to be? I genuinely can’t think of one. |
It is important to understand that people who think things were a “s—- show” under Biden are people who see illegal immigration as their top issue.
From their perspective, Trump is “better” because he is taking aggressive actions to deal with their number one issue. All of the problems with Trump are viewed as trivial compared to illegal immigration. |
That wasn’t the only issue. His inflation was also an issue. That is finally under control. There were other issues as well. Beginning with the Afghanistan withdrawal. He was a horrible president. |
+1 And it's not as if Biden and Democrats weren't told how voters felt before the election; they didn't listen. |
Yet still, not one single Democrat politician has stepped up to protect our borders. Shameful. |
