You really can’t make this up. KJP stood at the podium with a straight face and said she could barely keep up with Biden — the same guy who freezes mid-sentence and needs note cards to find the door.

Now she’s scrambling to save face, suddenly claiming to be “independent” and distancing herself from the Dems.

Too late. She carried water for this administration every step of the way.

She did her job just like Trump's press secretaries have done. They are paid to be a voice of and for their bosses. They aren't paid to expose untruths and weaknesses their bosses have. It's very fair to hate on Trump and Biden but don't fault their messengers who are simply doing their job.

What you've written describes jobs that don't require honesty or integrity. I couldn't disagree with you more.

When your job is PRESS SECRETARY for very weak and unfit presidents like Trump and Biden, your job is much more about about question dodging than it is about honesty and integrity. A White House Press Secretary is a spokesperson for the POTUS. Their job is to communicate to the press on behalf of the POTUS. What comes out of their mouths in a press briefing is to be assumed to be the same that would come out of the POTUS's mouth if they were present.

If Trump or Biden's press secretaries communicated anything while on the job that you viewed as lacking honesty or integrity, then your beef is with the person the "spokes"person is speaking for which is the POTUS in this case.

None of her blatant lies and spinning on video has aged well.

Is she running for a seat on the council?

This is good news. We need to remove everyone associated with Weekend at Biden's from the Democratic Party. Biden was the worst part of the otherwise generally successful Biden administration.

This election was a desperate Hail Mary, and having him and his handlers clinging to power handed the country to MAGA.

A good press secretary/PR flack should be able to spin effectively without blatantly lying.

Like many older folks, Biden undoubtedly had periods when he was sharp and times when he was not-so-sharp.

A reasonably intelligent person with decades of Senate experience could easily seem impressive to a much younger and less experienced person, especially when he enjoyed the full use of his gray matter.

In which case, an honest person of integrity wouldn't take a job that involves deflecting and lying.

A lot of media and Biden people are saying she was an incompetent press secretary. When this was said by Republicans a few years ago, the response was to call the Republicans racist.

Yep. So interesting. Just like when Republicans were calling out Biden for having very obvious cognitive decline, Democrats - and the media - claimed he was being "smeared by Republicans" and "deepfake" videos. We've seen how that turned out...

Jean-Pierre was a key part of the effort to conceal Biden's decline, vouching for his fitness and insisting the president, then 81, was "as sharp as ever" even after last June's disastrous debate against Donald Trump.

What they're saying: One former White House official who worked closely with Jean-Pierre told Axios that she "was one of the most ineffectual and unprepared people I've ever worked with. ... She had meltdowns after any interview that asked about a topic not sent over by producers."

"She didn't know how to manage a team, didn't know how to shape or deliver a message, and often created more problems than she solved," the official said.
A former Biden communications official threw more wood on the fire: "The hubris of thinking you can position yourself as an outsider when you not only have enjoyed the perks of extreme proximity to power — which ... bestows the name recognition needed to sell books off your name — but have actively wielded it from the biggest pulpit there is, is as breathtaking as it is desperate ... It's difficult to see how this is anything but a bizarre cash grab."

Another former White House official familiar with the dynamics told Axios: "The amount of time that was spent coddling [Jean-Pierre] and appeasing her was astronomical compared to our attention on actual matters of substance."

You don't sound objective.
