I’m always calling out ageism on these forums, but ageism absolutely goes both ways. People are dismissing him outright as a lightweight with no experience. We have to listen to young people, too. I’m not advocating for him per se, but there sure is a grip on power by the oldest Dems. |

| I stopped giving $$ after the DNC lit 30 million on fire in 2024. This morning, I became a recurring donor to Hogg's PAC. I don't care about Hogg, I care about primarying those who horde power or those who want to further the corporate line. The fact the 1/2 Dems can't even speak out about the abductions is all you need to know about where they are. Pathetic and if Hogg's PAC can primary 3 Dems, I'll be happy. Let's start with Pelosi. |

+1. There were like 4,000 kids at that high school. There like 3,000 kids at the school shooting in Michigan a couple years ago, nobody thinks any of them to run the DNC. The Hogg experiment has failed. This obnoxious nitwit just needs to thank the party apparatus for the Ivy degree he never deserved and go get a real job. |

American Federation of Teachers union President Randi Weingarten, a longtime influential member of the Democratic National Committee, is leaving the DNC, according to a letter obtained by POLITICO. Weingarten, who has been a member of the DNC for 23 years, wrote to DNC Chair Ken Martin that she had fundamental disagreements with leadership. “I appear to be out of step with the leadership you are forging,” she said in the letter dated June 5, “and I do not want to be the one who keeps questioning why we are not enlarging our tent and actively trying to engage more of our communities.” Weingarten has defended former DNC vice chair David Hogg, who was ousted last week from the committee, as he has come under fire over his decision to fund primary challenges against Democrats that he sees as ineffective in safe-blue districts. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/06/15/weingarten-dnc-00407364 |
